Based on over twenty years of training and developing appropriate programs for many different contexts, the course content is current with the latest developments in delivering online adult education. The course has been designed by co-founder of the Conflict Resolution Network, Helena Cornelius (Psychologist); Helena is co-author of Everyone Can Win and author of The Gentle Revolution. Christine James, Fiona Hollier and Kerry Turnbull have joined the team to produce this online course.

How do I study?
Study is conducted online which means that you can complete course work at any time that suits you. You choose how long you need to take to complete the course. You do need basic computer skills, comfort with reading and listening to study materials in English and regular online access. All study materials are accessed by you from within the website.
Professional Development Hours
You may be considering this course to fulfil continuing education requirements set by your professional organisation. Conflict Resolution Network assigns 30 professional development hours (PDH) to successful completion of this course. What will I study?
The course is divided into twelve modules, each module offers two to three hours of intensive training in that skill.

Conflict Resolution skills help you build more unified organisations and more rewarding relationships. This course provides students with background knowledge and theory, the confidence to identify and employ attitudinal changes and the ability to apply these skills to diverse personal, workplace, and community conflicts.
While the skills are specific, they transfer readily and support the individual in a wide variety of situations. These skills are also the core ones to use when you mediate, coach or facilitate conflict resolution in your personal or work environment. They provide a solid foundation to manage the conflict layers within disputes and the core issues underlying deep conflicts.
